If winter is getting the best of you, there are flight options making it easier than ever to have a Caribbean getaway. The best part is, these new routes are mostly nonstop!

Huge airlines like American Airlines have launched new routes this year traveling to destinations like St. Thomas and St. Lucia. 

Below are new flight routes that will transport you to the Caribbean in no time!

America to Anguilla via San Juan – Tradewind Aviation

Tradewind Aviation is a boutique airline servicing the Caribbean. There is now a shuttle service from San Juan’s Luis Munoz Marin (SJU) airport to Clayton J. Lloyd International (AXA) airport. The flight is only one hour and runs from Friday to Monday until April 13th, 2020.

Anguilla has beautiful turquoise waters, world-class resorts and multiple beach bars to choose from. 

Boston to Grand Cayman – American Airlines

This route ended back in 2010 but is now back in business. You can travel from Boston Logan (BOS) airport to Owen Roberts (GCM) airport on Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands every week until May 2nd, 2020

Grand Cayman is known for its famous seven-mile beach and resorts. You can relax at Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa, dine at one of its many restaurants and relax on the beachfront bungalows.

Charlotte to Grenada – American Airlines

American Airlines recently added this route from Charlotte Douglas International (CLT) airport to Maurice Bishop International (GND) airport in Grenada. The flights take off on Saturdays and take place weekly. 

Grenada, known as “Spice Island” is perfect for relaxation. Head to Grand Anse Bay Beach located at Spice Island Beach Resort to lay out in the sun. You can also head to the capital city of St. George to explore a 300-year-old fortress, gorgeous architecture and shop at the spice market. 

Chicago to St. Lucia – American Airlines

American Airlines has just launched nonstop service from Chicago O’Hare (ORD) airport to S. Lucia’s Hewanorra International (UVF) airport until April 4th, 2020. The flight leaves weekly and has a flight time of 5 hours and 30 minutes.

St. Lucia has stunning mountain views, waterfalls, botanical gardens, and Sulphur Springs. The cocoa industry is being revived, so you can expect to indulge in rich chocolatey treats.

Chicago, Dallas, and Miami to St. Thomas – American Airlines

The popular airline launched new routes to the U.S. Virgin Islands in December 2019. There is now service from Chicago O’Hare (ORD) airport, Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) airport and Miami (MIA) airport to St. Thomas Cyril E. King (STT) airport. You can catch the Chicago service from now until April 4th, 2020 and the Dallas service every Saturday throughout the year. 

While on the island, head to The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas for exceptional service and accommodations. 

New York to Guadeloupe – JetBlue

JetBlue launched direct service from John F. Kennedy (JFK) airport to Point-a-Pitre (PTP) airport in Guadeloupe on February 1st, 2020. 

When in Guadeloupe, you have to visit the UNESCO heritage site, Parc Nacional de Guadeloupe. You can also relax by the beach or make a trip to the nearby island of Dominica.
