Princess Cruises has announced four exciting voyages on the Sapphire Princess and Majestic Princess vessels for the 2024-2025 season. Sapphire Princess will sail guests to explore the wonders of Antarctica, the charm of the Falkland Islands’ penguins, and the incredible vistas of Elephant Island, Antarctic Sound, and Gerlache Strait. As the top-rated large ship cruise line in the region, Princess offers guests an up-close look at the wonders of the white continent while enjoying large ship comfort and small ship personalization at a fraction of the price of explorer ships.

With two ships, 26 destinations, and 14 countries, the 2024-2025 season includes 15 total departures on 11 unique itineraries. This season, a 17-day Antarctica expedition sailing roundtrip from Buenos Aires with an overnight stay in this dynamic homeport is new. A 51-day South America Grand Adventure aboard Majestic Princess between Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale is also available, including overnight breaks in Lima, Buenos Aires, and Rio de Janeiro.

“No other large ship cruise line sails Antarctica like Princess,” said John Padgett, Princess Cruises president. “Our master navigators, unique local relationships, and outstanding amenities make accessing these exotic destinations not only immersive but amazingly comfortable.”

One of the Most Dynamic Environments on the Planet

There are numerous advantages to visiting Antarctica and South America with Princess. Expert navigation affords access to some of the most dynamic environments on the planet including incredible up-close views of icebergs and glaciers. Whales and penguins can also be spotted during the cruise. There are also onboard experts, naturalists, historians, and storytellers with captivating stories and curated activities. Argentine performances highlight local culture, regional cuisine and wines, and local dancers and samba classes from the famed Carnival festival.

Princess offers two cruise tours in South America for those who want to combine a land tour before or after their cruise to visit sought-after UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Iguazu Falls Adventure includes the thundering Iguazu Falls, the world’s largest waterfall system. The Machu Picchu Explorer, which includes a train ride through winding valleys to the ancient Inca complex of Machu Picchu and a tour of the historic city of Cusco, is available until August 25, 2023.
