Alabama
The rumors around the state of Alabama is that a “barbecue” chicken sandwich made with “white barbecue sauce” made with mayonnaise and vinegar is a favorite among Alabamians.
If you’re looking for an alternative to that mayonnaise and vinegar combination, try the “Big Daddy Bar-B-Que” sandwich at Dreamland BBQ.
Alaska
Alaska and fresh fish are almost synonymous so it should come to no surprise that the Halibut BLT is at the top of this list.

According to Reddit Users, the “wildcat” from Bison Witches in Tucson, Arizona is the best in the state. The sandwich includes thin slices of roast beef and smoked turkey with melted smoked gouda cheese. To top it off, its complimented with honey-based spicy Russian mustard.

Connecticut
Louis’ Lunch is a hamburger restaurant in New Haven, Connecticut which claims to be the first restaurant to serve hamburgers and the oldest hamburger restaurant in the U.S. as it was opened in 1895.
Delaware
The “Bobbie Sandwich” at Capriotti’s is the best-seller, so it comes to no surprise that Reddit users rated this as the best in Delaware. It’s made with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo.
Florida
The Cuban Sandwich is to Florida what the beach is to people in the Sunshine State: it’s part of their DNA.
There’s no better place to try such an iconic dish than Versailles Restaurant in Miami.
Georgia
Ann’s Snack Bar is home to “The World-Famous Ghetto Burger” which has been named the best burger in Atlanta by Citysearch Atlanta and the best burger in the country by The Wall Street Journal.
Hawaii

Idaho

The results are in and Reddit users say that Buona’s Italian Beef is the best in Illinois.
Indiana
In Indiana, a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich is where it’s at and the good news is that you can find them anywhere in the state.

The Tavern in West Des Moines is home to Iowa’s best sandwich: The Italian Grinder.
The sandwich consists of Italian sausage simmered in a special sauce topped with mozzarella cheese and oven-baked on a fresh hoagie bun.
Kansas
