Get ready for a nostalgic trip to the iconic Barbie Malibu Dreamhouse hosted by Ken. In celebration of the upcoming live-action film, Ken, who is portrayed by Ryan Gosling, is giving fans a chance to experience the all-pink world of Barbie. The “La La Land” star is offering two lucky guests an overnight stay in the newly revamped dreamHouse.
Ken has given the life-size, toy-inspired home a touch of “Kenergy.” Gosling has added elements he loves, such as rollerblading. Despite his additions, Barbie’s signature pink remains a prominent feature because of her own redecoration efforts.
In Honor of the Barbie Film
To celebrate the film, directed by Greta Gerwig, Ken is opening his room in the Barbie Malibu Dreamhouse for two individual one-night stays. The stays will be free of charge, as Ken couldn’t put a price on Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse.
Guests will have a technicolor experience. They will have access to Ken’s wardrobe, an outdoor disco dance floor, and the chance to serenade the sunset on Ken’s guitar. They can also indulge in sunbathing and relaxation by the infinity pool. Guests can take home a set of yellow-and-pink Impala skates and surfboards as mementos of their stay.
In the spirit of empowering girls, Airbnb will make a one-time donation to Save the Children in celebration of the film’s July 21 release.
