British Airways is bringing back its business class, Club World service.

The service will include new menus with signature soups and warm desserts, paired with drinks.

The airline’s Head of Onboard Experience, Sajida Ismail, says, “It’s incredibly important that when we brought our full service back, it exceeded our customers’ expectations.”

“We have taken time to ensure that we are offering a premium brasserie-style dining experience that not only tastes good, but one that our crew feel confident in delivering,” Ismail continues.

The new menu

Signature items on the menu include artichoke and parmesan soup with rye croutons and warm apple studded with vanilla sauce.

The new Club World menus use ingredients from local producers. There will also be seasonal options such as chocolate fondant with crème anglaise and the British Originals Cottage Pie.

Certain routes will have different menus catered specifically to that route. Caribbean flights will have a lemon and herb grilled mahi-mahi fish; routes from the Middle East will have king prawn machbous; and routes from India will have chicken dum biryani.

The menus have been curated by the airline’s culinary experts and paired intentionally with beverages on the in-flight menu.

Sleeping peacefully

British Airways will have express service on its evening flights. Travelers can request a one-tray service, eating a light meal before sleeping.

“We have had such great feedback from the recent introduction of new menus across our First, World Traveller Plus, World Traveller and Club Europe cabins and we know our new Club World menus won’t disappoint,” says Ismail.

There will be a revamped Club World check-in area at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 5.
