Last week, Disney World reopened to travelers since closing due to the pandemic. Now according to Variety, the beloved theme park has banned visitors from eating and drinking with their mask off while walking the premises.

The site states, “Face coverings are required for all guests (ages 2 and up) and cast members. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming. You may remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, but you should be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing.”

This decision comes after too many visitors were spotted not wearing face masks, resulting in the site to update its mask policy.

Since reopening, cases in Florida have significantly increased, with about 10,000 new cases daily.

Disney World has started cleaning more thoroughly, encouraging social distancing, using cashless services, and enforces wearing masks to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
