Disney is expanding the options guests have with its newest resort. The Villas at Disneyland Hotel is perfect for people looking for a staycation, a luxury vacation, and to host a group of friends for an annual friendcation trip.
The Villas at Disneyland Hotel is a 12-story tower, the 16th Disney Vacation Club property, and the first new tower at Disneyland Hotel since 1979.
The creative magic behind Walt Disney Animation Studios is the inspiration behind the 344 guest rooms. Inside, guests will experience fan favorites with themed rooms. Themes include “The Jungle Book,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “The Princess and the Frog,” and “Fantasia.” Aside from sleeping among these magical stories, Disney enthusiasts will love this resort’s many options.

Studios For One, Large Villas, and More
The beautiful large windows and an exclusive vibrant mural by Disney Animation artist Lorelay Bové start the magic. Bové’s acclaim stems from her visual development work on beloved films, “The Princess and the Frog” and “Encanto.” The mural sets the tone for the magical stay that awaits guests on the floors above.
Themes will depend on the type of room guests book. The Duo Studio takes on the Jungle Book theme. This room is the perfect option for alone time or two people. Inside is a split bathroom with tile accents and a brilliant way to optimize the space with a queen-size bed that tucks into the wall.
If more space is needed, the deluxe studio comfortably sleeps up to four guests. These rooms are themed with the timeless tales of “Sleeping Beauty” or “The Princess and the Frog.” This space has a kitchenette, a beautiful split bathroom, and queen-sized beds. Like the duo studio, the second bed is tucked away inside the wall behind the sofa.
One- and two-bedroom villas are perfect for larger families and groups. The one-bedroom villa sleeps five people comfortably. Meanwhile, the two-bedroom villas sleep up to nine people. Like the Deluxe Studio, the villas have a full-size kitchen. What makes these villas different is the space. The living area is larger, with comfortable sofa seating. There’s also a bed that can be easily pulled down from the wall.
The space and comfort continue into the main bedroom, where guests will find an en-suite bathroom featuring double vanities, a soaking tub with a themed mosaic-style tile mural, and a spa-like shower.
“Fantasia” and “The Princess and the Frog” are the themes for the one- and two-bedroom villas.
The Grand Villa Is A Luxury For Groups
The three-bedroom grand villas are stunning spaces with multi-level accommodations that can sleep up to 12 people. Families or friend groups can enjoy the full-size kitchen, large dining area, and a double-sided fireplace on the first floor of the Grand Villa. There’s a private outdoor balcony that connects to the first-floor living space.
There’s more magic up the spiral staircase, with two additional rooms, each with two queen-sized beds. One of the rooms is inspired by “Frozen” and the other is inspired by “Moana.”
Guests will find the primary room on the first floor – a space inspired by the timeless classic “Bambi.”
Hidden Easter Eggs Found Inside The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
True to Disney’s brand, guests will find hidden easter eggs throughout the property. Bové tells Travel Noire there are three hidden Mickey’s on the mural in the lobby. One of the most unique touches in the rooms is behind the bed’s headboard. The headboard lights up the room in a magical way at night.
Guests will find more of their favorite stories and characters by opening the closets in the rooms. Be sure to wait outside because Tinker Bell appears before going inside. The best way to catch her is at night outside the resort and looking on the right side of the building.
