Need a break from the normal lifestyle of 9 to 5’s and hitting up local bars on the weekends? Want to know what it’s like to break free and just get paid to travel? If you’ve ever dreamed of living in a campervan while traveling through Australia and New Zealand, well here’s your chance! There’s one company out there ready to fund six months of one lucky person’s life and provide you with a campervan to travel the two countries.
How it works:
The selected applicant will be paid 5,000 New Zealand dollars per month which is roughly $2800 to document their travels. They will also get a weekly stipend to cover food and fuel expenses. As well as all of their air travel expenses necessary to get to Australia and New Zealand.
So what’s the catch you say? There really isn’t any. The applicant selected will be hired as a ‘social media nomad’ for payroll provider Deel. Of course, you’ll have check- in and have a few remote meetings as well as some brand ambassador duties. However, most of the job consists of you sharing all your adventures on Deel’s social media platforms.
Who qualifies?
To qualify for the position at Deel, you need three years experience as a social media manager, influencer, or brand ambassador. Must be able to speak and write english well. And of course, you should have a valid driver’s license and passport.
If you want to score some more points with your application, Deel is also in search of applicants who have previously made content in Australia or New Zealand. Or for those who have ties to the countries, such as ancestors or you’re just a big fan of Lord of the Rings.
