Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the busiest airport in the world and is gearing up for an even busier Fourth of July weekend. 

The airport is expecting 1.7 million travelers between June 30th and July 5th. According to AAA, 3.55 million Americans are will be flying during this time period. This is an increase of 1.5% from 2021.

Tips for traveling through ATL during this Fourth of July Weekend

According to Atlanta airport officials, travelers should arrive two hours before domestic flights. If you’re traveling internationally, arrive three hours before your departure time. 

Consider taking public transportation like MARTA or rideshare option to save time and avoid having to park.
