Croaker’s Spot

Most notable for its seafood, Croaker’s Spot offers three locations throughout Virginia, including in Richmond, Norfolk and Petersburg.

On the menu are fried oysters, twin crab cake medallions, butterfly shrimp, and clam chowder.

Mango Mangeaux 

Located in Hampton, Mango Mangeaux is a top rated fusion restaurant that features three cuisines: French, Creole and NeoSoul.

On the breakfast menu, you will find Mango French Toast and Chicken Fried Chicken French Toast.

Gumbo, a Creole Cobb with Mango Balsamic Vinaigrette, and shrimp and grits can be found on the lunch and dinner menus.

There are two locations that you can choose from, including Newport News and Hampton.

Senses Vegan is a comfortable environment for both vegans and those interested in the vegan lifestyle.

The menu includes a Philly steak and cheese, BBQ jackfruit, a chicken salad wrap and a beyond burger.

Martin’s Soul Food can be found in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Gloucester, and Newport News, VA.

You can also catch them rolling around in a food truck.

Curry chicken, wing baskets, crab cakes, and fish sandwiches are all on the menu.

 

Scratch Bakery

Located in Newport News and Hampton, Scratch Bakery specializes in wedding cakes, birthday cakes, graduation cakes, baby shower cakes, cookies and more.

On any given day, the bakery offers between 18-to-20 cupcake flavors per day.
