R&B singer Monica is known for showcasing her luxury fashion sense on social media. Now, the mom of three, also makes sure to include her daughter, Laiyah in all her fun too. The singer recently shared an adorable video recap of a mother-daughter getaway she had with Laiyah while in New Orleans.
Let’s just say, we are definitely taking notes.
Monica and Laiyah stayed at the Four Seasons New Orleans— because what else screams luxe?
Located on the Mississippi River banks, the hotel —opened in 1967— brings a taste of the finer things to NOLA’s waterfront.
In the Instagram video, the mommy-daughter duo were seen cozying up in matching robes while feasting on a breakfast spread made for queens.
“I absolutely love it here,” Monica said in the caption.
The video then pans to the “Boy Is Mine” singer as she posed with a bottle of champagne— full glass also in hand— on the hotel’s rooftop.
“From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the charismatic energy of Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans,” the website reads. “Our social spaces bring together a mix of fashionable locals and international travelers.”
The longstanding hotel also features: a street-level garden, spa (closed until 2022 for safety precautions), 75-foot outdoor pool and heated spa jacuzzi overlooking the water, as well as two signature restaurants.
Monica and Laiyah ended their video by walking out of the hotel lobby in matching Black outfits by Black-woman designer, Milano Di Rouge.
For those wanting to do a luxury getaway with the kids, the property offers a family plan which means that children under the age of 17 stay free, when accompanied by an adult.
