There’s something about the look and feel of New York City. From the skyscrapers lining the sky to the insane traffic and yellow cabs. Now, you can experience the city while getting paid, thanks to this new contest.

The Alliance for Downtown New York, the nonprofit business improvement district for Lower Manhattan, has launched the Lower Manhattan’s Explorer In Chief Summer Dream Job Contest that will move one lucky winner to New York City to document their once-in-a-lifetime experience living in Lower Manhattan during summer 2020.

The winner will spend June- August living in Lower Manhattan and documenting their stay. The Explorer In Chief will be employed by the Alliance and compensated for their work with a monthly stipend, paid expenses and free rent at premiere Downtown properties, kicking off with a long-term stay at the tech-enabled hospitality brand Sonder.

To enter the contest, you must submit a video, of 60 seconds or less, between March 2, 2020, and March 15, 2020, at 11:59p ET to the company’s website. They are looking for an urban explorer with a camera-ready personality, a keen eye, a distinctive voice, and the chops to produce compelling, entertaining content.
