If you’re ready for a Labor Day getaway but haven’t booked a flight yet, Priceline has revealed the top Labor Day travel destinations. Here are a few of the most popular and affordable destinations travelers are headed to this year.

Las Vegas, NV

Vegas stays at the top of American travelers’ bucket list all year long. However, the city truly comes alive for holidays. Labor Day is no exception. This year, the city will be bustling with events, attractions, and parties as thousands flock to its streets. According to Priceline data, hotel stays are averaging around $187 per night and travelers are taking advantage. 

There are a plethora of events happening in Las Vegas during Labor Day weekend. Visitors can attend shows like America’s Got Talent Live, Jeff Dunham, and Mystere By Cirque Du Soleil. There will be pool parties, incredible food, and a number of festivals happening all weekend long.

Orlando, FL

For those traveling as a family, Priceline’s data revealed Orlando as a top destination for Labor Day. There’s plenty of family fun happening in Orlando. There’s Legoland, Disneyworld, SeaWorld, and more. You’ll never run out of things to do in Orlando. 

Like Vegas, Orlando is gearing up to come alive for Labor Day. Many theme parks are hosting holiday-themed events and parties. Hotels are averaging $168 per night and the festivals are endless. For the gastronomic experience of a lifetime, check out the International Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT. SeaWorld is hosting an incredible fireworks show. Chicago, IL

Smack dead in the middle of the country, Chicago is a fun, affordable destination. It’s no surprise travelers are booking trips there for Labor Day weekend. If you live in the Midwest and have beach vibes on your mind, Chicago is probably the closest lakeside beach you can access with ocean feels.

The city continues to attract visitors to its urban, swanky charm. According to Priceline, the average nightly hotel stay for the holiday weekend is $222. When you’re done chilling lakeside, check out the live music, bike rides, festivals, and boat cruises happening across the city. 

New York City 

Of course, the Big Apple landed on Priceline’s Labor Day destination list. The East Coast is known for its harsh winters, so Labor Day is the last hoorah for many travelers hoping to visit during the summer season. 

New York City never sleeps, so it’s sure to be fully turned up for the holiday weekend. Average nightly stays for the weekend are around $369 as many travelers are venturing east for festivals and fun. EDM lovers are shutting down the city for the 14th annual Electric Zoo Festival.
