If you’ve ever dreamt of a honeymoon fit for royalty, Hotels.com is rolling out the red carpet. The online accommodation site is giving the opportunity to fans of Netflix’s hit series, Bridgerton.

A real-life couple named Simon and Daphne, just like the show’s central figures the Duke and Duchess of Hastings, will be awarded their very own $15,000 “Hastings Honeymoon.”

In addition to being legally named Simon and Daphne, the couple should be getting hitched before the second season of Bridgerton premieres and must be able to provide proof.

The contest is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada who are at least 18 years old. It runs from Thursday, Jan. 21 to Dec. 31, 2021. Additional details and rules can be found on the site.

Bridgerton, a Regency-period drama, is one of the streaming service’s most popular titles to date with 63 million viewers tuning in within the first four weeks. It is the fifth largest Netflix original series launch of all time. The series has also inspired many thirst tweets and an Instagram account dedicated to a spoon which launched a thousand gifs.

Last week it was announced that the show was renewed for season two with plans to begin production in the spring. It should be noted that the entertainment industry has been hampered by Covid-19 restrictions.
