The Bayou Classic is a historic college football game that happens every year. The event began in 1974 and happens in New Orleans every Thanksgiving weekend. The sports showdown is between Grambling State University and Southern University. Every year, thousands of travelers visit New Orleans to attend the event. In addition to the rivalry game, there are plenty of parties, festivities, and even a Battle of the Bands between both schools.
