The president of Azamara, Carol Cabezas, shared some insight with Travel + Leisure regarding why cruises like this continue to break ground.

Azamara will not only offer 46 overnight stops to allow passengers to feel more of a cultural experience to understand the special nuances of each destination, but it will also include 13 different free land events like visiting the world’s largest Buddhist temple in Semarang, Indonesia and the official bon voyage gala in San Diego.

Travelers boarding the Azamara cruise line are further incentivized by a $4,000 onboard credit and $3,000 to spend on shore excursions, roundtrip business class airfare, a premium beverage package for two, and weekly laundry service.
