Travelers visiting Caribbean countries will have to be tested for COVID-19 prior to arriving as well as showing a negative test result. Most Caribbean countries ask that travelers are tested 72 hours before boarding their flights.

These requirements often leave travelers feeling stressed about finding a location to get test results rapidly.

Thanks to Bats Media and Consulting, an Aruba-based company, there is a portal that allows travelers to find a place to get rapid test results in their state.

Rapid Test Travel shows locations in each U.S. state and includes drugstores like CVS and Walgreens.

Julien de Bats, Director of Bats Media and Consulting says to Carib Journal, “A lot [of people[ chose not to book to Aruba because they could not find the location [for rapid testing]. We wanted to make it easier for them and increase tourism on the island.”

Some locations in the portal even perform 24-hour tests.

According to de Bats, “Anything we can to help tourists to book. We are all about giving tourists the most user-friendly experience.”
