Fewer people may have traveled in 2020 as a result of the pandemic, but that didn’t stop the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) from confiscating some pretty odd things from passengers.

Here are some odd items passengers tried to sneak past TSA security officers:

This slingshot was discovered by officers from Raleigh–Durham International Airport (RDU).

“Slingshots or any other weapons or replicas are not allowed in your carry-on bag. So do yourself a favor and double… triple check your bags before arriving at the airport,” a post from TSA reads.

Yes, you read that right. A passenger from Syracuse took the baby shark song a little too seriously.

A passenger leaving Philadelphia tried to sneak rum by masking it in a Pepsi bottle.

A concealed knife was discovered in a carry-on bag at T.F. Green Airport (PVD).

Among other confiscated items were fireworks, more concealed knives, and more guns than we could keep up with it.
