A 23-year-old woman has been charged with felony criminal trespass after being found hiding by a set of ropes near a boarding door at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.

According to Cook County prosecutors, Yaazmina Payton evaded checkpoints at the airport and boarded an American Airlines flight at the ticket gate at Terminal 3 for Los Angeles in an attempt to see rapper and entrepreneur Jay Z.

Once spotted, she was taken into custody and unable to prove that she purchased a ticket.

Following her arrest, Payton reportedly offered to show officers how she bypassed security and admitted to passing through a secured gate when Transportation Security Administration Authority officers were distracted.

Payton’s attorney said she has post-traumatic stress disorder and an anxiety disorder.

Judge John F. Lyke Jr. ordered Payton released on $500 bail but approved a prosecution order barring her from the airport.

As for the security agents, it remains unclear if the agents on duty are still employed.

TSA did not immediately respond to Travel Noire’s request for comment.
