At the heart of Green Book Global’s mission lies a commitment to empowering Black travelers. Established in 2018, the platform enables Black travelers to share their firsthand experiences through the lens of “Traveling While Black.” It offers valuable insights to fellow community members. These reviews aid prospective travelers in making informed decisions about their destinations. They also serve as a catalyst for nurturing safe and inclusive travel experiences.

Expedia to Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the Travel Industry

Lawrence Phillips, the visionary CEO and founder of Green Book Global, underscores the importance of this endeavor.

Among the top-rated destinations, Dakar, Senegal, Panama City, Panama, New Orleans, London and the Bahamas emerge as shining examples of places that have received glowing reviews from Black travelers. In addition to the top-rated locations, the list includes Accra in Ghana, Johannesburg in South Africa, Portimão in Portugal, Marrakech in Morocco and Oak Bluffs in Martha’s Vineyard. These destinations, handpicked by the founder, embody the essence of inclusive and culturally enriching travel.
